OC5228B is a multi-functional average-current LED constant current driver with simple peripheral circuits for step-down BUCK high-power dimming constant current LEDs in the voltage range of 5-100V
The OC5228B PWM port supports ultra-small duty cycle PWM dimming and responds to pulse durations as low as 60ns. When the PWM port is high, the chip works normally. When the chip is low, the chip output is turned off.
OC5228B The average current control algorithm is adopted, the output current constant current accuracy is ≤+3%, and the output current is less affected by the input and output voltage and system inductance; The chip integrates loop compensation, the peripheral circuit is simple, and the system is more stable and reliable.
OC5228B Three-function switching is achieved by controlling the ID port. When LD is in the air, the system is in highlight mode; When ID is VDD, the system is in low-light mode with 1/2 current; When the LD is connected to the 0.2-1.2V analog dimming signal input, the system is in analog dimming mode. LD switching mode is used to switch between high and low beams for automotive LED lighting. ID When the dimming mode is simulated, the port voltage is below 0.2V and the output is off.
OC5228B is available in an SOP8 package.
