OC5721 is a high-efficiency, high-precision switching step-down high-power LED constant current driver IC.
THE OC5721 OPERATES IN A FIXED FREQUENCY PWM MODE WITH A TYPICAL OPERATING FREQUENCY OF 140KHZ.
The OC5721 uses an average current sense mode and therefore has excellent load regulation characteristics.
The OC5721 has an integrated high and low brightness function, which can be switched through the HL port. HL is in high light mode when the float is in high light, and HL is connected to low light mode where the high level is 1/2 current.
The OC5721 also integrates an HL regulator transistor as well as over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection circuits to reduce external components and improve system reliability.
The OC5721 is available in a SOT23-6 package.
