OC5738 is a high-efficiency and high-precision switching step-down high-power LED constant current driver IC with built-in 90V power MOS.
THE OC5738 OPERATES IN A FIXED FREQUENCY PWM MODE WITH A TYPICAL OPERATING FREQUENCY OF 140KHZ.
The OC5738 has excellent load regulation characteristics due to its average current sensing mode.
The OC5738 has integrated high and low brightness functions, which can be switched through the HL, port. HL is in high light mode when the float is in high light, and HL is connected to low light mode where the high level is 1/2 current.
The OC5738 also integrates an IHL regulator and over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection circuitry, etc., to reduce external components and improve system reliability.
The OC5738 is available in an ESOP8 package. The heatsink has a built-in SW pin.
