The OC5823 is a step-down switched-mode converter. The OC5823 achieves varying peak output currents over a wide input supply range of 6-60V and has excellent line voltage and load regulation.
The OC5823 operates in PWM current-mode mode with easy loop stabilization and fast transient response.
The OC5823 has an external FS pin, which allows the operating frequency to be set by connecting an external resistor.
The OC5823 integrates protection features including cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown.
The OC5823 is available in a SOP8 package with few external components.
