The OC5862 is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with built-in power MOSFETs. The OC5862 achieves 0.8A peak output current over a wide 5.5-60V input supply range with excellent line voltage and load regulation.
The OC5862 operates in a PWM current-mode mode that provides easy loop stabilization and fast transient response.
The OC5862 has an external FS pin, which can be used to set the operating frequency by connecting an external resistor.
The OC5862 integrates protection features including cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown.
