BP3166XS is a high-precision flyback LED constant current driver chip. The chip operates in discontinuous conduction mode of inductive current and is suitable for isolated flyback LED constant current power supplies with a full range of input voltages from 85Vac to 265Vac.

The BP3166XS chip integrates a high-voltage power switch internally. It adopts gate demagnetization detection technology and high-voltage JFET power supply technology, and does not require a VCC capacitor and start-up resistor, making its peripheral devices simpler and saving the cost and volume of the periphery.

BP3166XS has multiple protection functions, including LED short-circuit protection, open-circuit protection, and chip temperature overheating regulation function. It is packaged in SOP7.
