BP3189A is a high-precision two-winding, low-PF primary-side feedback constant current driver, suitable for a full range of input voltages from 90Vac to 277Vac.

The BP3189A chip uses differential sampling to detect the output voltage and demagnetization signal, which can realize two-winding isolation applications while ensuring excellent OVP accuracy.

The BP3189A chip adopts advanced primary-side constant current control technology. Without a secondary-side feedback loop and loop compensation capacitor, it can achieve excellent constant current characteristics, greatly saving system cost and volume.

BP3189A works in the critical continuous conduction mode and quasi-resonant mode of inductive current, reducing switching losses and lower EMI, thereby improving the utilization rate of the transformer.

BP3189A provides comprehensive protection functions, including output open-circuit protection, output short-circuit protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting protection, and over-temperature current reduction protection. BP3189A is packaged in SOP-8.
