OB21082 is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC converter. The chip adopts a self-regulating COT architecture, and the CCM operating frequency is basically unchanged under a wide range of input voltages. When the load changes, the frequency conversion achieves a good dynamic response. The chip has a built-in analog ripple circuit, which does not require an external compensation network and provides a stable output over a wide load range. A low-side switching drive is provided to significantly improve conversion efficiency.
The chip integrates over-current protection and over-temperature protection to prevent damage to the chip when it is overloaded or the temperature is too high. It integrates input voltage under-voltage protection, over-voltage protection, and output voltage short-circuit protection to ensure the safety of the chip under various voltage conditions. The high- and low-end switch drive is equipped with a dead zone to avoid the possibility of pass-through.
