OB2122 is a lithium battery charge and discharge management chip that integrates PPS/PD3.0/PD2.0/QC3.0/QC2.0/FCP/AFC/PE output fast charging protocol (compatible with Apple and Samsung), PD3.0/PD2.0/QC2.0 input fast charging protocol, which can output multiple channels at the same time, and supports charging and discharging at the same time.
The OB2122 has an integrated power MOSFET, which requires only an external inductor and few peripheral components to achieve buck and boost functions. The OB2122 supports bidirectional fast charging, Type-C port DRP detection and Try Source functions. OB2122 provides single-port fast charging and fast discharging functions, which can support up to three simultaneous discharge outputs (5V), and supports charging and discharging at the same time. The standby current of the OB2122 is as low as 30uA.
The synchronous switching charging system of OB2122 supports 5V~9V input charging, and supports PD3.0/PD2.0/QC2.0 protocol. It supports 5V/3.1A and 9V/2A input power of TYPE-C port, and supports 5V/2A and 9V/2A Micro USB port input power. The OB2122 automatically detects the charger’s maximum load capacity, locks the charging current, and dynamically adjusts it as the charging process progresses.
OB2122 synchronous switching discharge system supports PPS/PD3.0/QC2.0/QC3.0/PE2.0/AFC/FCP, Apple Samsung protocol, can provide a maximum output capacity of 18W, automatically shut down the output power tube when no load, and enter sleep mode.
The OB2122 supports pass-through discharge and can provide up to three simultaneous pass-through modes.
OB2122 supports pressing a button to enter the discharge mode.
It is available in a 6mm x 6mm QFN48 package.
