OB6232

The OB6232 is a two-channel Class-D audio power amplifier with built-in boost circuitry, and the output voltage amplitude of the boost circuit is externally adjustable. It can work in a wide range of 3-9V supply voltage, and supports single/double lithium battery power supply. The output power can support 8.5W continuous output for each channel (7.4V supply boost to 11V8Ω load) and the efficiency is up to 85%.
The advanced and unique dynamic drive control technology enables OB6232 to have perfect EMC performance, and the output does not need LC filtering.

-Standby current 5uA, 7.4V power supply condition
-Standby current 2uA, 3.7V power supply condition
The integrated power limiting function enables the OB6232 to flexibly adapt to a variety of power loads under the same power supply situation.
The integrated power supply over-voltage and under-voltage protection, on-chip over-temperature protection, power amplifier input DC protection, power amplifier output over-current protection and other functions make the OB6232 more safe and reliable in some abnormal situations. Over-temperature protection and over-current protection of power amplifier output have the function of self-recovery with real-time detection.
In the case of abnormal DC input of the power amplifier, the DC input protection of the power amplifier turns off the output until it is re-powered on to protect the speaker from damage.
The OB6232 is packaged in a TSSOP28 package, and the thermal pad at the bottom of the package needs to be reliably soldered to the PCB to effectively help dissipate heat.
