OC5033 is a high-end current detection step-down high-precision high-brightness LED constant current driver controller.
OC5033 sets the output current through an external resistor, and the maximum output current can reach 10A; Current accuracy +3%; Few components are required for the peripherals to perform step-down, constant-current drive functions, and PWM or linear dimming can be achieved via the DIM pin.
The system adopts the inductor current hysteresis control mode, which has a very fast response to load transients and a high suppression ratio to the input voltage. The inductor ripple is 20% and the maximum daily operating frequency is 1MHz.
The OC5033 is particularly suitable for applications with a wide input voltage range, ranging from 5.5V to 60V.
The OC5033 has a built-in over-temperature protection circuit, when the chip reaches the over-temperature protection point, the system immediately enters the over-temperature protection mode, which will lower the input current to improve system reliability. The OC5033 features a built-in LDO with an output voltage of 5.5V and a maximum current output of 5mA.
The OC5033 is available in a small SOT23-6 package.
