OC5138 is a high-efficiency and high-precision switching step-down high-power LED constant current driver IC with built-in 90V power MOS.
The OC5138 operates in a fixed-frequency PWM mode with a typical operating frequency of 140KHz.
The OC5138 uses an average current sensing mode and therefore has excellent load regulation characteristics.
The OC5138 has an integrated high and low brightness function, which can be switched through the MODE port. MODE is suspended in high-light mode, and MODE is connected to low-brightness mode with a high level of 1/2 current.
The OC5138 also integrates a VDD regulator and an over-temperature protection circuit to reduce external components and improve system reliability.
The OC5138 is available in an ESOP8 package. The heatsink has a built-in SW pin.
