OC5221

OC5221 is a multifunctional average current type LED constant current driver with simple peripheral circuits. It is suitable for the field of high-power dimming constant current LEDs in step-down BUCK with a voltage range of 5-100V.
The chip’s PWM port supports ultra-small duty cycle PWM dimming and responds to a minimum pulse width of 60ns. When the PWM port is high, the chip works normally. When the chip is low, the chip output is turned off.
The chip adopts an average current control algorithm, and the output current constant current accuracy is ≤3%, and the output current is less affected by the input and output voltage and system inductance. The chip integrates loop compensation, the peripheral circuit is simple, and the system is more stable and reliable.
The chip realizes three-function switching by controlling the LD port. When LD is floating, the system is in high-brightness mode: when LD is VDD, the system is low-brightness mode with 1/2 current; ID When connected to 0.2-1.2V analog dimming signal input, the system is analog dimming mode. LD high and low brightness switching mode, which is used to realize the switching of high and low beams for automotive LED lighting. ID When the dimming mode is simulated, the port voltage is below 0.2V and the output is off.
The OC5221 is available in a SOT23-6 package.
