OC5238 IS A MULTI-FUNCTION AVERAGE CURRENT LED CONSTANT CURRENT DRIVER WITH SIMPLE PERIPHERAL CIRCUITS, WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR STEP-DOWN BUCK HIGH-POWER DIMMING CONSTANT CURRENT LED FIELD IN THE VOLTAGE RANGE OF 5~90V.
The DIM port of the OC5238 supports ultra-tight duty cycle PWM dimming and responds to pulse durations as low as 60ns. When the DIM port is high, the chip works normally. When the chip is low, the chip output is turned off.
OC5238 adopts average current control algorithm, the output current constant current accuracy is ≤5%, and the output current is less affected by the input and output voltage and system inductance. The chip integrates loop compensation, the peripheral circuit is simple, and the system is more stable and reliable.
The OC5238 is available in a SOT89-5 package.
