The OC5266 is a continuous inductor current on-mode step-down LED constant current driver with built-in power MOS and extended NMOS to drive one or more LED strings. The OC5266 operates from 5.5V to 60V, provides adjustable output current, has a built-in MOS output of up to 1.5A, and extends the NMOS drive to sustain higher power ranges.
The OC5266 has a built-in power switch with high-side current-sense circuitry, and a dimming foot DIM that is compatible with both PWM and analog dimming. When the voltage of the DIM pin is lower than 0.3V, the output is turned off and enters the standby state.
The OC5266 has a built-in over-temperature protection circuit, and when the chip reaches the over-temperature protection point and enters the over-temperature protection mode, the output current gradually decreases to improve system reliability.
The OC5266 uses a patented circuit architecture to ensure that the output current is free of overshoot at low dropout voltage, improving the life of the LED, and the OC5266 uses a patented constant current circuit with excellent load regulation and linearity regulation.
The OC5266 is available in an ESOP8 package.
