The OC5268 is a step-down LED constant current driver with built-in power MOS continuous inductor current conduction mode for driving one or more LED strings. The OC5268 operates from 5.5V to 70V and provides adjustable output current with a maximum output of 2A for internal MOS applications and 10A for external MOS applications.
The OC5268 uses a high-end current-sense circuit that is compatible with PWM and analog dimming foot DIMs. When the DIM pin voltage is lower than 0.3V, the output is turned off and enters standby mode.
The OC5268 has a built-in over-temperature protection circuit, and when the chip reaches the over-temperature protection point and enters the over-temperature protection mode, the output current gradually decreases to improve system reliability.
The OC5268 has a built-in LDO with an output voltage of 5.5V and a maximum of 5mA to H.
The OC5268 adopts a patented circuit architecture that enables the output current to operate without overshoot at low dropout voltage, improving the IED operating life, and the OC5268 adopts a patented constant current circuit with excellent load regulation and linear regulation.
The OC5268 is available in an ESOP8 package.
