The OC5502 is a high-precision high-brightness LED constant current driver controller with built-in MOS for high-end current sensing synchronous step-down
The OC5502 sets the output current through an external resistor up to a maximum output current of 2.5A; Current accuracy±3%; PWM dimming or linear dimming can be achieved via the ADJ pin.
The system adopts the inductor current hysteresis control mode, which has a very fast response to load transients and a high suppression ratio to the input voltage. IT HAS AN INDUCTOR CURRENT RIPPLE OF 20% AND OPERATES UP TO 1MHZ.
The OC5502 is suitable for applications with a wide input voltage range, from 5.5V to 36V.
OC5502 has a built-in over-temperature protection circuit, when the chip reaches the over-temperature protection point, the system immediately enters the over-temperature protection mode, which will reduce the input current to improve system reliability, OC5502 has a built-in IDO, its output voltage is 5V, and the maximum current output can be 5mA. The OC5502 is available in an OFN10 package.
