OC5720 is a high-efficiency and high-precision switching step-down high-power LED constant current driver IC with built-in 100V power MOS.
The OC5720 operates in a fixed-frequency PWM mode with a typical operating frequency of 140KHz.
The OC5720 has excellent load regulation characteristics due to its average current sensing mode.
The OC5720 has an integrated high and low brightness function, which can be switched through the HL port. HL is in high light mode, and HL is connected to low light mode with high level of 1/2 current.
The OC5720 also integrates an HL regulator and over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection circuits to reduce external components and improve system reliability.
The OC5720 is available in an ESOP8 package. The heatsink has a built-in SW pin.
