OC5728 is a high-efficiency and high-precision switching step-down high-power LED constant current driver IC with built-in 100V power MOS.
THE OC5728 OPERATES IN A FIXED FREQUENCY PWM MODE WITH A TYPICAL OPERATING FREQUENCY OF 140KHZ.
The OC5728 has excellent load regulation characteristics due to its average current sensing mode.
The OC5728 has an integrated high and low brightness function, which can be switched through the HL port. The HL float is in high-brightness mode, and the IL is connected to low-brightness mode with 1/2 current in high.
The OC5728 also integrates an HL regulator transistor as well as over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection circuitry to reduce external components and improve system reliability.
The OC5728 is available in an ESOP8 package. The heatsink has a built-in SW pin.
