OC6801B is a dedicated DC-DC controller chip designed for step-up and buck-boost switching power supplies.
OC6801B typical applications support an input voltage range of 5-40V. It is also possible to support an input voltage range of 400V or more by extending the input power supply.
The chip adopts a fixed-frequency PWM controller and automatically reduces the frequency under light load conditions to improve conversion efficiency.
The chip has a built-in high-precision error amplifier, oscillator, and frequency compensation circuitry, simplifying the peripheral design. Overcurrent protection and EN pin shutdown are built-in.
The chip operating frequency can be adjusted by an external resistor, making it easy to set the system operating frequency according to different applications.
OC6801B Soft-start and over-temperature protection circuitry are integrated to reduce external components and improve system reliability.
