The OC7135 is a low-dropout, linear-step-down, fixed-output current LED constant current driver.
In addition to LEDs, the OC7135 can form a constant current output LED driver circuit without the need for external components.
The OC7135 has built-in overtemperature protection to protect the chip from damage caused by overheating when the junction temperature exceeds 120’C. The OC7135 also integrates LED short-circuit protection. In addition, the OC7135 comes with a built-in soft-start function.
The OC7135 is available in multiple sizes of output currents from 100mA to 380mA in 20mA steps, and can be extended to drive LEDs in parallel with multiple chips.
The OC7135 is available in a SOT-89-3 package.
